Morrison Tree & Landscape Services is a full service landscape and design provider. Our professional landscape and design company is a family owned business and has been providing quality service to customers in Lexington, Massachusetts and surrounding communities for many years.

Phil and his crew took out a dead tree for us. They were quick (both to come do the work and how long it took), did clean work and were very well priced.
You can’t really ask for anything else. I’d definitely use them again (though I hope no more of our trees die).
PA Morrison Landscape and Tree is a very reputable firm that will not overcharge for the work they do in a very professional manner. Phil wants to make sure his customers are satisfied with the work and will always be there for you to make your home have the best curb appeal it can. Give them a try you will agree!!
After spending a couple months contacting local tree companies for a removal and trimming job – without success – I called Phil Morrison. He came and gave me an estimate, offered good suggestions on making it a better job, and within days several trees were trimmed and one 50-footer taken down. The price was excellent, and the job well done. Highly recommended.
Phil and his crew did a splendid job clearing the incredible mess left in our 1 acre house lot by the Oct 29th record snow storm. In 8 hours they removed and/or pruned 30+ trees felled or heavily damaged by the storm and left the premises spic and span. It was, and will be a continuing pleasure to deal with such a competent and honest outfit.

Phil and his crew came in earlier than 7:30 am and stayed late till all the marked trees on our property were cut and removed. They did an awesome job; no damage to the property and our driveway was left cleaner than it had been!

Phil and his team did a great job for us. We were clobbered this year by the tornado and Halloween freeze, with multiple large trees, limbs and brush down. I hired Phil and his team to tackle some long overdue tree removal of runaway Norway Maples lining my road and on a steep hill threatening my roof. They have done a fantastic job taking everything down cleanly and removing the debris. They were prompt, courteous and professional skillfully handling the challenge. Our trees suffered damage during the freak snow storm we had in October. In addition, we had some long overdue tree work. Phil gave us an affordable daily rate according to the number of men required for the job. They took down the trees carefully, were very professional, tidy and worked hard from 7:30am till the job was done. They protected the grass with wood before driving their bucket truck onto it. No damage to the house or driveway and great cleanup. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.
Phil Sr started helping us with clean-ups and some landscaping roughly 3 years ago based on a recommendation of a friend. He’s been great helping us clean up the beds, filling in an old bed and very professionally helping us with some much needed tree work– he’s removed 3 for us and did a beautiful job pruning many others. He’s always prompt, and easy to work with. This summer, we also utilize the landscape design skills of Phil Jr. I know next to nothing about plants, but gave Phil Jr. a very vague sense of what I was trying to accomplish with a difficult patch in our backyard and a budget and he ran with it, making what was once an eye-sore a much more attractive component of our landscaping at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the Phils and their team.
Just wanted to say how happy I’ve been with all the work that has been done at my house. Last fall Phil Sr. & Phil Jr. planted all new plants & trees in my yard. Phil Jr. designed plans for the front of my house & recently designed & planted trees & shrubs on side. It came out beautiful. They both are hard workers & take pride in what they do. After Hurricane Sandy uprooted 4 large trees, including one onto my home, and crippled 2 others, a friend recommended two tree service companies. Both gave me similar estimates but I choose Phil because he had a 18″ chipper that could handle the large trees that had fallen. I was further impressed when Phil realized that upcoming bad weather could fell the trees still standing into my house, and that he could prioritize my job. In just a couple of days he had a crew in to remove all the trees before more damage could happen. They did a great job and Phil Jr suggested that he take pictures of the damage to my house from the bucket truck. It was sad losing all these trees but I was lucky to have such a hard working group of guys deal with all the mess. I would highly recommend Morrison.
This was the second time within a year Morrison Tree and Landscape has been to our home; today to remove trees damaged by Sandy. Both times we have been very pleased with their work. They are professional and their prices are reasonable. We requested a dogwood at the front of our house be pruned and now it is perfect! They want to make sure the owners are satisfied with their work and they leave the site clean. I highly recommend them.

Within a couple of days he returned with a crew to remove a tree and cut back another that was close to some wires. I was being put on ice by another tree guy for 3-4 weeks so I told him to take a hike. I remembered seeing a Morrison truck crane in my neighborhood a few weeks back so I called . Phil is a gentleman. He listened to my needs in getting 7 huge pines taken down ASAP. Phil said he could work around me and get the job done the following Saturday!! WHAT!!! It was beautiful to hear him say that he was coming and he kept his “WORD” which goes a long way today , not like the other “GUY” that kept blowing me off. So Phil came with his son and this “BEAST” of a chain saw dude , he is the best buzz-sawing , tree dropping “WOOD CHUCK” IN THE BUSINESS !!! But I feel bad I forgot his name !!! lol This kid was dropping the tops 30-40 in length down in the back yard in a precise spot , perfectly done and in a professional way. Do not worry about big trees coming down and hitting your home or car , this crew is the best and I have had other tree company’s here before , the price was very good and the service was even better. Me and my wife highly recommend Phil Morrison and his crew for any job big or small plus Phil is a man of his “WORD” and I respect that in any person that does so. We needed all new foundation plantings, as well as the old plantings removed, and we had a fixed budget. We also needed a large tree Spruce Tree removed from the front of our yard. Working with Phil Jr was great as he listened to our needs, and budget and came up with a very creative foundation planting. The large tree was taken down cleanly, and Phil stood by all of his work, as 2 of the plantings did not make it, and were replaced this spring as promised. We are new to Lexington and recently bought our first home. Our yard had been neglected for years and needed a lot of work. I came across Morrison Tree & Landscape through signs I saw in other yards around town that I liked. The reviews online were positive, so we gave them a try. I’m so grateful we found Philip and his team! They removed over 25 trees from our yard, trimmed the remaining trees and completely stripped and reseeded our lawns in our front, side, and back yards–it was a massive project.
Morrison and team’s work was incredible. They work really hard and are very fair and transparent in their pricing. Philip also connected us to other specialists when needed and was very invested in making sure all work was done effectively and efficiently (whether it was his team or the specialists with whom we worked). Morrison Tree & Landscape has installed several new trees in our yard three years ago. This year, we finally decided on the major expansion, which includes complete tear-down of the old house. We wanted to save the newly installed trees and also mature japanese maple & rhododendron. We contacted several landscapers. The best quote (great quote!) was from Morrison Tree & Landscape, and frankly, Philip was the only one who seemed to know exactly what he needed to do.
The trees were moved to the back of our yard mid-September. They look absolutely healthy and ready for the winter. We are looking forward to working with Philip & Co in the spring to move the trees back to the new permanent location, and to complete our new yard.
Phil and his crew just finished removing 4 trees on our property, two were in a tight spot between some houses. Philip and his crew removed 6 large trees and some smaller ones. They arrived on time and left a few hours later leaving the garden in immaculate condition. The crew is very friendly and professional. The kids were amazed to see one member of the crew climb up the tree and trim some large broken branches. We had some leaning trees and a couple were completely dead. Philip and the crew did a beautiful job and in a safe manner. I would recommend Morrison Tree and Landscape if you need tree service.

I have been a client for a couple of years and Phil and his crew work on my overall landscaping and snow removal. I finally decided to have the front yard redesigned as I had neglected it since we moved. Phil came over to discuss what I wanted, sent a quote and had the job done in record time. I wish I had taken “before” pictures to show the difference! The yard now matches the beauty of the house and I love how easy it is to maintain. I would highly recommend them.
Morrison just finished my landscape project! First they removed a very tall poplar tree and trimmed others. Then they designed and created a gorgeous patio, rearranged a number of trees and shrubs, repaired an old stone border, graded the rear, side and front yards then the entire team layed bark mulch and sod. We are getting lots of compliments on their work.

I cannot say enough fabulous things about Phil and his skills! I have never taken the time to write a testimonial but now I will. I contacted many different landscaping services and Phil was very upfront and fair about his prices and his work ethic. I had a total of nine trees taken down and three of them were 75 foot pines. The crew did amazing work. They arrived when they said they would, worked efficiently and non stop and cleaned up all of the debris. 10 out of 10 stars for me. Did I mention how much fun he is work with? Go Phil! I am looking forward to working with him again.

These guys were fantastic!
First and perhaps most importantly they gave us the best price… We had three or four quotes and these guys came in at the best price! Second; they were hard-working, knowledgeable, clean, efficient, friendly, and detailed. They went above and beyond regarding every aspect of the job. We couldn’t recommend them more and we will use them in the future if we need any tree services!
These guys were so professional, and finished the whole job in 3 days. My front walkway looks amazing, and we’ll definitely be hiring them back to redo the back patio once we save up. Phil really takes pride in his work and makes sure the job is done right. Very happy customers!

We had a terrific experience with the Morrisons. All in one day the father and son carefully took down our big dying tree in the front yard, had a stump grinder arrive exactly when they were ready, removed the grindings, and then regraded and seeded the front lawn. Mr. Morrison recommended seed over sod and he was 100% right. He also checked on the lawn’s progress in the following weeks. We and the neighbors are amazed at the results. The Morrisons know their business. They were recommended by a friend who continues to use them. We will too. Choose them. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful experience we had when hiring Phil and his fantastic team! We had some solid tree work that needed to be done, with some that were actually hanging over the house but, we were going to wait it out until the Spring as the winter caught up to us. While noticing the across the street neighbor getting some ginormous pines cut down by Morrison we figured it was worth walking over for an inquiry. Phil stopped what he was doing and walked across the street to survey our land and give suggestions on all the trees he’d recommend getting removed. He gave a very reasonable quote and was up for the task. He even juggled another job to be able to help us sooner! The day of the job his entire crew showed up nice and early and started right away without missing a beat. They worked the whole day in the snow with daylight quickly fading to be able to complete the job for us in one day! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Job well done!
We just moved into Tyngsboro and got some bad wood from another company that someone recommended. We were at a loss as we couldn’t burn it. We got Morrison’s phone number and called them and had a cord of wood delivered to my house within two hours! They were great and the wood burns beautifully! Thanks so much!! We had significant tree damage after a recent storm, including several hanging ‘widow-makers’ in our tall pine trees. Phil responded promptly to my inquiry and arrived to help us out one day later. The Arbor Pro machine that he used was truly amazing–very low impact on the yard, very maneuverable, and it allowed him to get to the tops of trees to remove the threatening limbs. He and his partner worked quickly and efficiently and the price was very reasonable. They did a great job cleaning up, too. We have had many tree companies work in our yard over the years, and Morrison was by far the best experience we have ever had. We highly recommend them.
